So we went and meet up the Selayang Mall management to sponsor us a booth. We wrote a letter and also photostat the competition letter that was given by our school. He did help us a lot. He was trying his best to sponsor us the booth which actually cause Rm300.oo, and at last we got the booth. We did bookmark,Cd and comics sells to colect money for the WWF. We also gave out flyers which contain information about orang utans to all the shops in Selayang Mall.

we also did put on our handmade brochur in our class for all the students to read the causes of extinction .
As usuall girls are litsening to the story
"head prefect sharing her wonderful story"

Sharing story with full of expression

We also did called our Mcneil house captain and head prefect to give a talk to a few students and well there is a few students who stayed back and came for the talk and we had a lot of fun because our head prefect was sharing her story telling us that she has been this place where an campaign was organized and she went there she saw the orang utans, she touched them and as she say they are so cute, nice and loving.

The orang utans

Moving gracefully through the tress, the
orangutan is a wonderful animal. It has very
brightly coloured fur, and has very long arms
which helps it grasp branches easier in the
rainforest, even though it weighs 88 to 200 lbs
and is, like the chimp, 4-5 feet tall. Orangutans
like to eat fruit, plants and sometimes smaller
animals. Illegal poaching and capturing of these
animals for circuses and zoos helped them
become endangered. If no one killed and trapped orangutans, they might not become
extinct. However,if they do become extinct.
The orang utans diet would overload, without something to kill off some, completely destroying
nature
Watch, Watch and Keep Watching!!!Watching the funny videos of orang utans!!!haha

Girls are so in too the orang utans!!!

Look girls the orang utans are already going to extinct.SAVE THEM!!!

Hinduja explaining about the video that are going on!!

Our group have actually showed up a video to the students during recess time to

Pledge Cards

We are Back with a new idea! Guess what we've actually came up with a brilliant idea! Instead of giving out badges, the same old way. We've designed pledge cards. Through this way, we've successfully built up more awareness among students. This give us a satisfying achievement as we see students are participating.

P/S: Keep ur promise as stated in the pledge card for those who have signed!!! And to all who have give us give us such a good support, we appriciate you guys greatly!Continue to show ur endless support to L.O.&.V.E..

Latest information!!!

Do you know that???

Orang utan played an important part in the diet of the Dyaks
of Bornea, who killed them with poisened darts fired from blow pipes. The hunters then had to cut the flesh away from the wound before eating the meat to avoid poisening themselves.

Girls during the 'SHOW TIME'!!!

I guess they are really enjoying the movie..

MOVIE!!MOVIE!!!MOVIE!!!

Show time!!!

The L.O.&.V.E group have organized a movie time for the students. We showed them a box office movie and we managed to raise a lot of fun to conduct fun-packed activities for this campaign. After the movie,we gave a talk regarding the campaign 'LOVE ORANG UTAN AND VALUE THEM EVERYDAY'.

The students gave us a good respond and they were also very supportive. 'Without you
St.Marians, we wouldn't have achieved
anything'. Thanks girls. The Motto of
our school 'I SERVE' is fulfilled.

The Old Man Of The Woods (Part 2)

It would be diffucult to catch the adults, and they probably would not take kindly to captivity. unfortunately, the poor treatment received by baby orang utans between being captured and arriving at their final destination has accounted for many lives; it has been estimated that only one in every 20 babies survives the ordeal.
